Our New Found Hobby

That's right...tennis! Neither of us had ever really played before and it was something we just happened to stumble upon. After a failed attempt at playing catch, we borrowed Jake and Nissa's rackets and before we knew it, 2 hours had passed. We knew that we were going to have to go buy some of our own...and we did! Now, we play at least 3 times a week, two hours at a time, and even find ourselves watching tennis on TV in hopes that we'll pick up some of the professionals' tricks and technique. If you ask me, we're slowly getting better, but there's definitely room for improvement.

I figured since it's been over 2 months now since we've been married and most of family has still not seen any pictures from our honeymoon, I would post a few for those back home. We had such a blast in Hawaii and are hoping to make it back soon...at least within the next 10 years, that is. Our days were filled with shopping, eating and other fun activities, but enjoyed spending most of our time playing on the beach and snorkeling for colorful and unique seashells (sorry mom, there's a lot more where these came from, but I'll just have to show them to you when you come here in July!).

The Beginning of Happily Ever After

Well it's official! After 5 long years, Abe and I have finally tied the knot. Despite the fact that we got married April 1st, April Fools Day, our wedding day could not have been more perfect. Surprisingly, not a thing went wrong. We were so happy to finally be married and to spend such a wonderful day with all of our family and friends. After honeymooning in Maui, enjoying the company of our families and making a quick trip to Colorado to visit some of Abe's family, we found ourselves back in good ol' Provo, UT for the time being, but are hoping to end up back in San Antonio in the near future. We realized just how bad the economy is after moving here and started looking for jobs. Fortunately, we both just recently landed a job and are looking forward to finally having an income. We enjoy our new life together, even if it means eating off of our coffee table and having to sell our bodies for money (by this I mean donating plasma :) and look forward to the many days still ahead of us.
